Sergeant George Frank Robie was a soldier in the U.S. Army who received the Medal of Honor for his actions in September 1864 in before Richmond, Virginia during the Civil War. At the time he was serving with Company D, 7th New Hampshire Infantry. Robie was about 20 years old.
The medal was presented on June 12, 1883, 19 years after the action. He later rose to the rank of First Lieutenant.
Robie was born on June 17, 1844 in Candia, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. His Medal of Honor is credited to Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. Robie died on June 10, 1891 in Galveston, Texas, at the age of 46. He is buried at New City Cemetery in Galveston, Texas.
Robie is one of 1,525 Medal of Honor recipients from the Civil War and one of 35 credited to New Hampshire.

George Frank Robie (17 June 1844 - 5 June 1891) was a first lieutenant in the United States Army who was awarded the Medal of Honor for gallantry during the American Civil War. He was awarded the medal on 12 June 1883 for actions performed during the Siege of Petersburg in 1864.
