Captain Albert D. Wright was a soldier in the U.S. Army who received the Medal of Honor for his actions on July 30, 1864 in Petersburg, Virginia during the Civil War. At the time he was serving with Company G, 43d U.S. Colored Troops. Wright was 21 years old.

Wright was born on December 10, 1842 in Elkland, Tioga County, Pennsylvania. His Medal of Honor is credited to Wellsboro, Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Wright died on February 15, 1926 in Tampa, Florida, at the age of 83. He is buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Eustis, Florida. His medal is held by Atlanta History Center (1863 & 1904 designs), Atlanta, GA.
