Second Lieutenant Louis C. Mosher was a soldier in the U.S. Army who received the Medal of Honor for his actions on June 11, 1913 at Bagsak Mountain, Jolo, Philippine Islands during the Philippine Insurrection. At the time he was serving with Philippine Scouts. Mosher was 33 years old.
The medal was presented on March 4, 1914. He later rose to the rank of First Lieutenant.
Mosher was born on April 26, 1880 in Westport, Bristol County, Massachusetts. His Medal of Honor is credited to Brockton, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Mosher died on September 29, 1958 in San Francisco, California, at the age of 78. He is buried at San Francisco National Cemetery in San Francisco, California.
Mosher is one of 82 Medal of Honor recipients from the Philippine Insurrection and one of 265 credited to Massachusetts.

Voluntarily entered a cleared space within about 20 yards of the Moro trenches under a furious fire from them and carried a wounded soldier of his company to safety at the risk of his own life.
