Sergeant Clarence Milville Condon was a soldier in the U.S. Army who received the Medal of Honor for his actions on November 5, 1899 near Calulut, Luzon, Philippine Islands during the Philippine Insurrection. At the time he was serving with Battery G, 3d U.S. Artillery. Condon was 24 years old.
One other service member also received the Medal of Honor for actions on the same day. The medal was presented on March 11, 1902, 2 years after the action. He later rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Condon was born on August 12, 1875 in South Brooksville, Hancock County, Maine. His Medal of Honor is credited to St. Augustine, St. Johns County, Florida. Condon died on July 20, 1916, at the age of 40. He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
Condon is one of 82 Medal of Honor recipients from the Philippine Insurrection and one of 24 credited to Florida.
